O-Zone (2) - Dan, Radu and Arsenie

All begin in Moldova, in 2003 when Dan make a casting to find two other guys that will make the group O-Zone. He found Arsenie and Radu. They got instant success in Moldova, but they wanted go further in a place where the market of music is a lot bigger. So in 2002 they go to Romania and they had quickly big success. The first single to release there was "Numai tu". With this single O-Zone conquered the Romanian Top 100. In only a few weeks the boys was in the hearts of the Romanian public. In 2003 they release their second album (Diso-Zone) and automaticaly climbet to the first place in the Romanian charts. They sold 250 000 copies of this album, only in Romania.
The summer Hit "Dragostea Din Tei" was release in the summer of 2003 in Romania. One year later in the summer of 2004 they decided to release it all over the world in Italy, Spain, France, Canada, USA, Germany, Bulgaria and others. In Canada and USA it was abit later, at the end of the summer.

"DiscOzone" reached #1 in six countries and sold over 2.5 million copies worldwide (1 million in Japan alone).
Dan’s most successful song to date is "Dragostea din tei" (aka "Numa Numa song"),it reached #1 in 32 countries (and # 3 in the U. K.), selling 12 million copies worldwide,and was the best selling single in Europe and Japan in 2004 and 2005, respectively. The song was covered by over 100 artists worldwide in 12 different languages.
Another O-Zone hit was "Despre tine". It reached #1 in five countries and topped out at #6 in the main European Chart.
